Guy Edwards
Wessex Male Choir
Chorister & Soloist
2006-2019
I had 13 good years with the Wessex Male Choir as a chorister as well as performing many times as a soloist. Over the years, I took the Choir into charitable status, recruited two musical directors, and helped the Choir achieve all manner of notable successes, especially during my three years as Choir Chairman. Sadly, that all came to an acrimonious end in 2019 when petty in-fighting and unconstitutional behaviour meant that staying on was no longer an option. Once I resigned, my thanks was to be told I could never return, proving beyond doubt that the Wessex was no longer the welcoming, friendly, and professionally-minded choir it had been when I joined.
